The purpose of the Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire Critical Care Network is to ensure equity of access and care for critically ill patients across the three counties. Critical Care includes Intensive Care or Therapy and High Dependency.

To achieve this, the Network undertakes strategic, planning and operational work to ensure that the need matches resource and that the service is of the highest standard. It also develops and implements a range of protocols, practices and service development programmes and works with all partners involved in the care delivery. The Network monitors service delivery against agreed standards and assists in improvement plans where necessary.
